As always I was very pleased with the service I received at Suburban. John is my 'go to' guy and I always feel that he does the best for me. He is responsible and professional and always meets the challenge of repairing my car. He makes me feel that he wants to do the best job he can. I am still concerned, however, that my car has cost me an exceptional amount of money to keep it running. I think the car has had a large number of problems and I don't know if I would ever buy an Equinox again. Before I purchased the car I did a lot of research to find the right car for me. However, I do feel I made the wrong choice.
I use to own a Buick LeSabre. I had it from new with only 4 mi. on it's odometer. Suburban had always welcomed me, with what ever vehicle I drove in. They seem to treat all customers like they purchased their vehicle from Suburban. I've found that I've been treated as if I brought in a Cadillac, and this dealership just seems to stand out from most others. Suburban seems to offer you a deal, even if your out of warranty. I can't say enough about Suburban Buick Cadillac here in Troy. My Wife and I, may have developed an interest in the new Buick Envision AWD, which was my last loaner. Happened that it snowed the day Suburban provided this loaner, and we were awed.
Kevin was extremely helpful. He kept me updated on my car the entire time it was in for service. Kevin was honest about the things happening with my car. He also made sure to go over everything that had been done on my car when I came to pick it. I would 100% recommend Kevin to everyone.
I have had an ongoing problem with my Equinox and John has always been very professional with me and very competent. I feel he goes above and beyond to make me feel that he is doing everything he can to take care of the problem. I think the problem that I have been having is the fault of the car not Suburban.
I felt there was a bait and switch on the service. I was glad that the service was able to be completed so quickly, but when arranging for the service, I was told there would be a loaner vehicle available. When I arrived, I was told I need to wait. I am fine waiting. I am not fine with being told one thing on the phone and then being told a completely opposite thing when I arrive. It did cause issues for me and having to change my schedule. Service was accomplished in a professional manner.
